Dr. Vishnu Choudhari was graduated in Pharmacy from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) formerly University of Pune in 1990, received M. Pharm in Pharmaceutical chemistry Pune University in 1992 and Doctor of Philosophy (Pharmaceutical chemistry ) from Dr. BAMU, Aurangabad in 2011. He is working with School of Pharmacy (formerly Maharashtra Institute of Pharmacy) Pune since 2001. Currently he is working as Associate Professor and HOD, Quality Assurance and Co-coordinating Postgraduate Diploma in Regulatory Affairs. Dr. Choudhari has 9 years of industry experience in formulation R & D, Quality assurance and Production sections.
He has 19 years of experience in Academics and academic research in the field of analytical methods development and validation, Phytochemistry, herb-drug interactions, and nanoparticles activity evaluation and characterisation. He has guided over 30 UG and 60 PG Projects. Currently 06 students are working on their PhD under his guidance and one student awarded PhD by SPPU under his guidance. He is reviewer of many national and international Journals. He has received research grants from BCUD, SPPU and Industries. Dr. Choudhari has authored four books and published more than seventy five research papers in the national and international journals. He has received MIT Foundation day Award in 2012. His was awarded with best research publication award by “ Dr. P. D. Sethi Research Paper Annual Award’ in the year 2011. He had introduced for first time the concept of baseline manipulation methodology for multicomponent analysis by UV spectrophotometry techniques.
