Bio

Prof. Ganesh Choudhari received the B. Pharm. degree from Govt. College of Pharmacy, Karad in 2004. He worked with Ajanta Pharma Ltd. and then he did M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) in 2009 from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. He has received SIR RATAN TATA TRUST Scholarship for the distinction and top rank in M. Pharmacy in 2009. In 2016, he registered for the Doctor of Philosophy (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) degree in Savitribai Phule Pune University and his research topic is “Formulation, Standardization and Biological Evaluation of Herbal Preparations”.

He has three years of industrial experience and he worked with Ajanta Pharma Ltd., Paithan, Dist: Aurangabad and Wockhardt Research Centre, Aurangabad. He faced industrial audits are FDA – Oman, FDA – Brazil, J&J – USA, Iraq, UAE, and local FDA.

He is working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry., MIT-WPU School of Pharmacy, Pune since 2010. He has 9 years of experience in teaching and research. He guided over 16 UG Projects. His area of research and working is analytical method development, herbal drug development, impurity profiling. He published research papers in well indexed journals. Also, he presented research papers in state, national and international level conferences. He has received a research grant from BCUD, Savitribai Phule Pune University.

He has eight research paper on his credit. His research paper entitled, “Development and Validation of UV Spectrophotometric Methods for estimation of Mycophenolate Sodium in bulk and Pharmaceutical formulations” has been referred and appreciated by Wockhardt F & D, Aurangabad.

He successfully completed so many consultancy projects and training session in the separation of mixtures of analytes by Flash chromatography. He provides consultancy service, training and delivers a lecture on isolation of degradants from the formulation, isolation of in-process impurity and separation of herbal active constituents by Flash chromatography. He delivered many lectures on the subject- Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Technology.

He is a life member of Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) and Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA).

Maharastra Institute of Pharmacy (Now MIT-WPU School of Pharmacy) is only Pharmacy institution in Savitribai Phule Pune University which won 3rd Prize in Magazine Competition 2014-15 at University Level in Professional category under the able editorship of Prof. Ganesh Choudhari.
